Upcoming Events

  • Porch Chats with the Pastor – Pastor Melissa will be doing drop by porch visits to say hello and check in!  Email Pastor Melissa at melissa@firstpresbelair.org to schedule a visit.

Groups – Open to All!

  • Presbyterian Women S.I.S.T.E.R.S. Circle (Support, Inspire, Serve, Teach, Encourage, Respect, Share) Circle Meeting – First Tuesday of the month at 10:00 AM in the Conference Room. We will follow our 2021-22 PW Horizon Bible Study – What My Grandmothers Taught Me: Learning from the Women in Matthew’s Genealogy of Jesus by Merryl Blair. All ladies of FPC are welcome to join us.
  • Book Club – Fourth Wednesdays of the month at 2 PM. All who love to read are welcome! We will discuss White Rage by Carol Anderson in January. The suggested books for the coming months are February: Where the Forest Meets the Stars by Glenda Vanderah, March: Woman of No Importance by Sonia Purnell, April: Apples Never Fall by Liane Moriarty, and May: Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles.

Children and Youth Events

  • Snow Tubing Trip – Friday, January 14. Children and youth are invited to a snow tubing trip at Ski Roundtop in Lewisbury, PA. Registration and payment are due by January 5.
  • Christian Education – Held at 9:30 AM beginning with singing and ending with lessons in the classrooms. Due to the current COVID-19 surge, we will be making temporary changes in January to keep the children in cohorts. Sunday School will be held from 9:30-10:00 AM in the classrooms and will not be singing at 9:15 AM.
  • Children’s Church – This fan-favorite returns beginning in February on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. We will begin the year with a series called Ways to Pray, which is inspired by the book Praying in Color Kid’s Edition by Sybil MacBeth. We will use our bodies, minds, and hearts to pray in a variety of ways. Update: Due to the current COVID-19 surge, we will be making temporary changes in January and will postpone children’s church until February in order to maintain cohorts.
  • Children Lead Worship – Beginning in February on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
  • Children and Youth Fellowship Monthly Events – Including a socially distanced walking scavenger hunt! Advertised via First News.

  • Self-Serve Food Pantry – Bins available on the porch, Monday-Friday, 10AM – 5 PM.
