Everyone is welcome at First Presbyterian.

Worship – Sundays at 10:30 AM

All are welcome at our weekly service on Sundays at 10:30 AM. We’ll be in the Sanctuary or outdoors in the courtyard (3rd Sunday of each month, weather permitting).

Outdoor Worship in the courtyard is back by popular demand on the 3rd Sunday of the month! We received much positive feedback about our summer services being outdoors, however, we’ve also received some feedback that worshiping outside is difficult for some. To honor the varying desires and needs of our community, we will worship outside (weather permitting) on the 3rd Sunday of the month and in the Sanctuary on the other weeks. When we worship outdoors, you can either bring your own chair or blanket to sit on, or you can borrow a chair from the church. Worship services will continue to be livestreamed each week.

FPC’s mask policy: FPC follows the CDC categories for COVID risk for Harford County. Masks are optional in the green category, strongly encouraged in the yellow category, and required in the red category.

Live Stream

The 10:30 AM service will be live-streamed to Twitch below so that you may worship online with us. The video will be available after the service for 14 days on our Twitch page. You do not need an account to watch.

Children are encouraged to worship with their families! The following programs are geared for children and their families:

  • Children’s Church is held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month during the Sunday School year. Shortly after the children’s sermon, preschool through 5th graders will move into Legacy Hall for a lesson and engaging activities while parents can remain in the Sanctuary for the Sermon. We will begin the return of this fan-favorite with a series called Ways to Pray, which is inspired by the book Praying in Color Kid’s Edition by Sybil MacBeth. We will use our bodies, minds, and hearts to pray in a variety of ways.
  • Children Lead Worship is held on the 3rd Sunday of the month during the Sunday School year.
  • Children’s Worship Busy Bags contain two Pop and Praise sheets – one for readers and one for non-readers, tic tac toe, a coloring book, a pop-it key chain, crayons, and a pencil. The fun doesn’t “pop” there! Pay special attention to the “word of the week.” Busy bags are available from the Ushers on the first Sunday of the month and are sure to help keep your little ones entertained during the Service.

Please see the Children and Youth page for details about Sunday School and Children’s Fellowship.

Are you interested in joining the congregation of First Presbyterian Church? Would you like more information about what we believe, how we are structured, and what ministries the church supports? Talk to the Pastor, Greeter or Usher!

New Member Classes are held throughout the year so that those interested in joining FPC can meet with the Pastor and Session to learn more about the church. We will share our stories, learn about the Christian faith, ask questions, and learn what it means to be Presbyterian. Contact Us for more information or to learn when the next new member class will be offered.
